Is one set enough for a gnome?

Yes, one set is easily enough for a gnome. Each set includes enough wool that you'll probably even have some left over at the end.

What care instructions should I follow?

Care and Washing Instructions:

It is best to wash your knitted item by hand or on a wool wash cycle in a modern washing machine with a gentle drum, as cold or lukewarm as possible.

You can also wash superwash yarns at a maximum of 30°C on a wool wash cycle.

For yarns with a silk content, hand washing is recommended.

It is best to use wool detergent and avoid fabric softener and bleach.

It is best to dry the knitted item flat. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron.

Please note: Hand-dyed yarns may bleed during the first wash. Please wash separately.

Note on colors with turquoise pigments:

When winding the hank into a ball and during knitting, the color may rub off onto your hands. The blue color can be easily washed off your hands with soap, and after knitting, nothing usually rubs off onto the skin when worn.

What needle size do I need for the gnome and is the pattern suitable for beginners?

Why does a mini skein set cost more than a large skein?

Processing and dyeing mini skeins entails significantly more work compared to large skeins.

While for a large skein of 100g of wool, the effort is only incurred once, for mini skeins of 20g each, it is incurred 5 times.

Therefore, for the same amount of wool, significantly more steps are required when working with mini skeins.
